Blockley May Fair

Spend an afternoon taking in the sights and sounds of May Day, a wonderfully festive English tradition. On Sunday 1st May from 12pm - 4pm, head to the charming village of Blockley and be entertained by Maypole dancing, Morris dancing and the crowning of the new May Day King and Queen. There’s also a dog show, local stalls, refreshments and much more. It’s a great afternoon of family fun!

Open Gardens in The Cotswolds

There’s no better way to explore hidden corners of the Cotswolds than by visiting wonderfully clandestine Open Gardens. Closed to the public throughout the majority of the year, enjoy a stroll through enchanting wildflower meadows and past picturesque Cotswold cottages. Whether you’re avid hikers or prefer to simply sit with a scone and a cup of tea, there’s something here for everyone! There are a wonderful array to choose from, such as Barnsley Village Garden Festival (Saturday 14th May from 10:30am to 5pm) and Church Westcote Open Gardens (Sunday 29th May from 2pm to 5pm).

Various locations.

Chipping Campden Music Festival

Indulge your senses with the beautiful sound of live music in this historical location. Running from 7th – 21st May, the festival showcases 20 musical artists across both daytime and evening performances. Make sure to stop off at one of the many quaint tea rooms in the village too! Wine and Dine in the Cotswolds

After a day of exploring, relax at a country pub and watch the sunset over scenic rolling hills. Our favourite is The Fox Inn, a traditional riverside inn and restaurant in the beautiful village of Great Barrington. Nestled in the heart of the Windrush Valley, it is blessed with stunning views, award-winning dinning and a characterful drinking bar. An intimate and warm locals’ pub, this place has rustic soul by the bucket load.
