Easter in the Cotswolds

Spring is the season of new beginnings and with it brings a sense of new opportunities. We are all looking forward to warmer, sunnier days to share with our family and friends, so we have put together a few ideas to keep you occupied during your stay with us in the Cotswolds.

Lambing at Cotswold Farm Park

For a fun packed family day out, there is no better place than Cotswold Farm Park. With outdoor adventure play areas, and an indoor barn that offers ride on toys and a giant sand pit, this will be a firm favourite with the children. Easter is the ideal time to visit, as the farm sees the return of Spring lambing and kidding. With 600 rare breed and commercial sheep, as well as goats, all due to give birth in the Animal Barn, there will be plenty to see as you get up close to the action and perhaps take a turn feeding the lambs.

There is so much to explore and discover at the iconic, award-winning organic farm in the heart of the Cotswolds. This Easter, on Saturday 16th April, Daylesford is offering a creative afternoon to celebrate Easter and the beautiful flowers of the season. After foraging for fresh spring flowers and foliage in their organic Market Garden, you will return back to their light and airy Garden Workshop to create floral Easter bonnets. Walking Routes

To enjoy all that the Cotswolds has to offer, spend a day exploring one of the many walking routes around the area. Stroll through the rolling hills, enjoy panoramic views and stop off at a country pub for well deserved bite to eat. Our favourites are the Blockley and Batsford circular walks where you can find routes for all abilities, so whether you’re keen hikers or simply fancy a weekend stroll through picturesque villages, there's something here for everyone!
