Wine and Dine

The Cotswolds is home to some of the very best dining experiences in the UK. From chic restaurants to cosy pubs, you won’t be short of places to wine and dine while you’re here. One of our favourites is the The Churchill Arms in Paxford, which offers a delicious menu that places a contemporary twist on traditional British cooking. A Lakeside Afternoon

Set aside an afternoon to visit the stunning Compton Verney Art Gallery, a magnificent 18th-century mansion surrounded by 120 acres of parkland landscaped by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Home to impressive collections, including 16th-century Germanic art; 17th-century Neapolitan art; British portraiture and Chinese bronzes, this beautiful gallery is set among stunning gardens that encourage slow strolls on a sunny day. There is also a lively programme of exhibitions, workshops, family events and wellness activities, so you won’t be short of things to do.
