The Interior Design of our homes

Here at Luxury Cotswold Retreats, our values lie in creating the perfect space for you to relax, unwind and make the most of your stay in the scenic Cotswolds. Each one of our hand-picked properties has a unique identity and is finished with touches of luxury, thanks to the fantastic team at our sister company Cotswold Grey. They have thoughtfully furnished each property to ensure you feel right at home, guaranteeing a warmth that no other retreat in the Cotswolds can offer.

Light and Airy living at Linnet

A palette of whites and creams sets the tone for this elegant, calm and comfortable apartment. Imaginative and modern furnishings have been paired with natural tones to create a quiet home-from-home haven. Deep rugs and textured soft furnishings create a sense of warmth, whilst modern lighting and crisp cotton linen add a fresh, modern touch. By using a combination of floor lamps, table lamps and hanging pendants the space conveys the perfect ambience at any time of day.

Rich elegance at Siskin

Rich hues, luxury textiles, and contemporary furnishings have been used to create a unique and sumptuous ambience at Siskin. A beautiful free-standing roll top copper bath provides the focal point of this scheme, centred around the master bedroom. Its elegant copper tones and dramatic reflections are referenced in the choice of mirrors and lighting throughout the rooms, which are set against the deeper tones of the dark walls, velvet upholstery and painted floorboards. Everything about this interior speaks of luxury, from the unique furniture, to the exquisite linen, and even the high-tech Sonos music system.

Cotswold charm in our cottages

An interiors scheme that complements the pared back style of the property’s exposed stone walls, natural beams and original wooden floors. Cool blue tones and organic surfaces are complemented by the warm textures of the soft furnishings to create a look that is relaxed and luxurious. Large hanging pendant lighting creates a focal point within the main living spaces and bedrooms, whilst understated table lamps create a warm ambience in the evenings.

Open plan living at Silk Mill House

Silk Mill House is centered around family life and open-plan entertaining. Here, the focal point has been created through playful statement lighting that hangs directly above a large, textured kitchen island. The vast ground floor area and high ceilings are softened with the use of faux-fur throws, textured rugs, and sumptuous velvet sofas. Table lamps provide ambient lighting that provides a contrast to the natural light that floods through the full-length windows, whilst contemporary black and white artwork adds a characterful and contemporary finishing touch.
