Follow an enchanted light trail

Grab a hot drink and a snuggly scarf and explore a magical illuminated light trail this December. There are lots of local trails to choose from, but our favourites include the Spectacle of Light at Sudeley Castle and the Enchanted Light Trail at Cotswold Farm Park. Follow the magical lights around a set path, warm up around crackling fire pits and enjoy festive refreshments and gifts for friends and family.

Attend a panto

Oh yes it is… that time of year again! With colourful costumes, audience participation and plenty of festive cheer, Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a trip to the panto. From Dick Whittington at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham to Sleeping Beauty at the Stratford Playhouse, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy this December. But if panto isn’t your thing, why not enjoy a more traditional theatrical performance of A Christmas Carol at the RSC?

Late night shopping

It’s not too late to tick of your gift lists! There are plenty of independent and family-run small businesses based in the Cotswolds, many of which are offering late night shopping events during December. Why not wander over to our sister company, Cotswold Grey, on 8th December between 6 and 8pm and enjoy fizz and festive nibbles whilst browsing their range of homeware, home accessories and Christmas decor? From snuggly cashmere throws and artisan tableware to charming nordic gnomes and handblown baubles, we love everything inside the store and we’re sure you will too!
